Wine Making Terminology

Ever get confused about wine making terms?  I mean, what the heck is must?  And isn't Demi-John the piano playing singer from the 70's?  Sometimes I get confused too, so I usually have to consult one of my books or search the web.

 

I found this glossary at The Home Wine Making Page and is something that you should probably bookmark.

Demi-john

A 1 gallon (about 4 litres) fermentation bottle

Well I guess Demi-john wasn't a singer.  Better brush up on my terms.
